This is a Mon traditional food. Mon is one of the ethnic group of Myanmar. This food is enjoyed mainly on the new year which is usually during April. Inside the pot is rice with specially made water and side dishes are mostly mango salad and dried fishes. Paduk flower is also a symbol of new year as it only bloom thrice in a year mostly in April.
