The Shwedagon Pagoda, also known as Golden Pagoda, is located in Yangon, Myanmar. It is 99-metre tall and situated on Singuttra Hilla. It is also most sacred Buddhist pagoda in Myanmar. Many tourists come to Myanmar to visit this sacred pagoda.
The entry fees is free for the local but a few amount is need to be paid for the foreigners. The best time to visit is early morning or night. There are four entrance. You can either go up there by foot or lifts.
At night when you can find many people lights the candles.
