Today is about the Cream Tea that I mentioned in my previous post. It is a traditional from Devon and Cornwall.
In Devon, they put cream first and then put strawberry jam on top. However, in Cornwall, they put jam first and then cream on top.
The one I ate is Cornish style. I didn't know what style at that time so I asked the owner of the cafe. He told me that he is not a Cornish but the color combination is better with jam at the bottom. So it is like red, white and then red again.
I haven't tried Devon style yet. But I am going to try that in future :D
